Success Coaches are relational advisors who assist you in identifying and cultivating your strengths while recognizing and addressing specific barriers to academic success.
The relationship between you and your coach is collaborative and designed to foster confidence and self-determination. We are here not only to help with the various enrollment and financial aid processes (completing forms, following procedures, submitting requirements, choosing classes, etc.) but also to help develop the capacity to navigate higher education, advocate for yourself, and take advantage of academic resources available to you.
New students, including transfer students, are assigned a Success Coach after completing an admissions application.
High school students begin working with coaches in March of their senior year, while others (non-traditional/adult, transfer, readmit students) will typically receive a welcome email from their coaches within a week of application submission.
